Bio : Miles was brought up by a Bavarian goat-hurding family, after being found in a bush. He grew up into the family business but always longed to play bass in a funk band. Many a evening he would be found at the top of a hill, surounded by goats, playing with his instrument. His father, Heinz Kitchupp, insisted he must stay and look after the flock, but after he died in a freak goat-sheering accident, Miles sold the firm and headed for the bright lights. He soon found much success with his debut solo album "Goats dig the groove", which featured the hits "Hurds looking at you" and "The kid can play". He later settled in Bristol, the musical heart of the world. Here he found like-minded individuals who, like him, understood the complex fusion of progressive jazz and nomadic hurding techniques. This, he feels can be felt in his playing style and tries to bring this to all Angel Up Front performances.

Finally : Miles played his last gig with Angel Up Front on the 5th September 2003 at the Kings Arms in Bath. It was a good final gig.
